Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 14, 2026

This is a general-purpose starting template, not legal advice. Have it reviewed by a lawyer before relying on it, especially once payment processing and any EU/California users are involved.

1. Information we collect

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password (stored encrypted, never in plain text). If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is processed by a third-party payment provider — we do not store your card details ourselves.

2. How we use your information

We use your information to provide and maintain your account, process payments, respond to support requests, and send you service-related communications. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

3. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and to remember your session. We do not currently use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

4. Data retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time by contacting us.

5. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below.

6. Company data on the platform

Separately from account data, ExporterIQ publishes company and trade information sourced from public filings, trade documentation, and other verifiable sources for due diligence purposes. If you believe information about a company is inaccurate, please see our FAQ for how to request a correction.

7. Contact
